Meet our girl, Ashley:

Ashley Wellander, M.S.

THERAPIST

Ashley holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lipscomb University, where she specialized in Play Therapy and Expressive Arts, and earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Through her training and professional experience, Ashley has worked with individuals across the lifespan and from diverse backgrounds, including those navigating periods of crisis. This work shaped her passion for creating safe, compassionate spaces where clients feel supported as they process emotions and experiences.

Ashley works with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She supports clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, ADHD, faith-related concerns, and women’s health challenges, and she enjoys partnering with parents as they navigate family dynamics and strengthen relationships. Ashley takes an integrative, developmentally informed approach, drawing from play therapy, expressive arts, and evidence-based interventions tailored to each client’s needs.

At the heart of Ashley’s work is a belief in each person’s capacity for growth and healing. She meets clients where they are and fosters self-discovery, resilience, and meaningful change within a supportive therapeutic relationship.

Outside of the therapy space, Ashley enjoys exploring Nashville, spending time with friends and family, staying active, and relaxing with a good book, show, or movie.

Ashley practices under the supervision of Kasie Lee, PhD, LPC/MHSP, RPT-S, and Kelly Stephens, LPC/MHSP, RPT-S.
