Ann Hatcher, Intern
THERAPIST INTERN
Ann felt called to counseling after more than twenty years in corporate human resources roles. As a career changer, she brings a deep understanding of life transitions and enjoys supporting clients as they navigate changes in relationships, careers, grief and loss, and the process of ending substance use. Ann approaches therapy with curiosity, compassion, and respect for each client’s lived experience.
Ann believes that therapy is part of a larger journey toward understanding one’s authentic self and learning how to express that self more fully in daily life. Drawing from her training and personal experience, she helps clients clarify their goals, dream big, and work through barriers that may be standing in the way of meaningful change.
Outside of the therapy space and classroom, Ann enjoys spending time with her extended family, catching up with friends, taking weekend getaways, and getting lost in a good book.
Ann practices under the direct supervision of Jess Mansell, LPC-MHSP, and Lipscomb University Clinical Mental Health Counseling faculty who are licensed mental health professionals in the state of Tennessee.
