Jess Mansell, LPC-MHSP, E-RYT 200

FOUNDER OF ANOMALY

I primarily focus on the perinatal population and high achieving, high earning professionals. I also work with individuals and couples recovering from trauma and who have relational struggles.

While originally from Upstate, New York, Jess now considers Nashville home after moving here in early 2016. She has a B.S. in Communication Studies with a Gender Communications focus, and a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Play Therapy. Jess is currently pursuing her Perinatal Mental Health Certificate (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International in order to provide specialized care to birthing and non-birthing partners in the Nashville area.

Jess started Anomaly Therapy in March of 2021 to create a therapeutic system that helps advocate for mental health outside of the individual therapy relationship. That goal continues to be at the forefront of why and how she makes decisions on behalf of Anomaly.

With over a decade of experience teaching yoga, she brings Eastern philosophy and somatic awareness in working with clients to create space to decompress and gain insight of their mental, emotional and physical alignment.

When not in her office or inside the studio, you can find Jess being her natural competitive self at her gym with her husband, soaking up moments with her daughter, bouncing around at local coffee shops and breweries, and enjoying life with their pup - Charlie.
