Jess Mansell, LPC-MHSP, E-RYT 200

FOUNDER OF ANOMALY

I primarily work with the perinatal population and high achieving, high earning professionals. I also work with individuals and couples recovering from trauma and who have relational struggles.

Originally from Upstate New York, Jess has called Nashville home since 2016. She holds a B.S. in Communication Studies with a focus on Gender Communication and a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with specialized training in Play Therapy. Jess is currently pursuing her Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International, allowing her to provide informed, compassionate care to both birthing and non-birthing partners navigating pregnancy, postpartum, and family transitions.

In March 2021, Jess founded Anomaly Therapy with a vision of creating a therapeutic space that extends beyond the traditional one-on-one model. Advocacy, accessibility, and systemic awareness remain central to how she approaches both clinical work and leadership within the practice.

With over ten years of experience as a yoga teacher, Jess integrates somatic awareness and Eastern philosophy into therapy, helping clients slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and better understand the interplay between mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Her approach is grounded, collaborative, and tailored to meet each client where they are.

Outside of the therapy room, Jess enjoys staying active at the gym with her husband, spending time with her daughter, exploring Nashville’s local coffee shops and breweries, and adventuring with their pup, Charlie.
