Paige Ring, Intern

THERAPIST INTERN

Paige felt drawn to counseling through the impact therapy has had in her own life. She understands that life often brings multiple, sometimes conflicting, experiences at once, including grief, change, joy, and uncertainty. It is not always easy to make sense of those experiences on your own.

As a Korean adoptee, a mother, and someone who has navigated meaningful life transitions, Paige brings both personal insight and professional curiosity into her work. Before pursuing counseling, she worked for more than ten years as a registered nurse, which continues to shape how she understands people as connected and whole, with mental, emotional, and physical experiences deeply intertwined.

Paige enjoys working with individuals navigating identity, relationships, grief and loss, and life transitions. She is especially drawn to the stories people carry, how patterns show up in everyday life, and the role of meaningful connection in the healing process. She believes therapy can be a place to pause and take a closer look at what may not be immediately clear or fully understood. She works with clients to make sense of their experiences, identify what feels stuck, and move toward what feels meaningful in their lives.

Outside of the therapy space, Paige enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, tending to her plants, and finding moments of calm in the midst of everyday life.

Paige practices under the direct supervision of Jess Mansell, LPC-MHSP, and Lipscomb University Clinical Mental Health Counseling faculty who are licensed mental health professionals in the state of Tennessee.
